Creating a LIKE, TRUST, KNOW relationship through your SHOP BIO.

When you enter any high street store, your first impression has a lasting impact and your online store is no different. One area of your store that you can use to portray yourself and improve a buyers confidence in you is your shop bio! Here’s a few pointers on how to make your bio POP!

Your BIO is located at the top of your store homepage and you can EDIT it within your STORE SETTINGS.

Remember, we are not big corporate companies only known as a brand, we are small businesses run by real people. So give customers who land on your store page little nuggets of information about you so that they can get to know you and begin to build a relationship.

Introduce yourself! Name. Where you make your items. Something about you.

Welcome to Quintessence Aromas! I’m Holly. Mum, wife, avid supporter of small craft businesses and I hand make all of my luxury home fragrances from my workshop in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol.

Tell people why did you start your business? Not only does this make you relatable but it provides an opportunity to also make a sales pitch!

I started Quinnie because I wanted to provide high quality home fragrances without the high price tags. My biggest pride is how often I am complimented on how long the scents last and what great value for money our products are.

Write something that sets you apart from other business’ that are similar to yours! Why should the customers choose you and not someone else?

We have over 30 fragrances to choose from so there is absolutely something for everybody within our range. Our products are also all vegan friendly!

Make sure you portray yourself as friendly and approachable. Potential customers should be made to feel comfortable enough to send inquiries about your products and ask for further information. Create a vibe that makes them want to talk to you!
